FAVORITE THING ABOUT ONLINE?
My favorite thing about being online has been connecting with people I might not have if we were in person. On top of that, it will be incredible to look back on this period of time once it’s over.
HARDEST THING ABOUT ONLINE?
For me, the most challenging thing about online learning has been accepting it. For a long time, I was focused on seeing an end to this period, and I still partially am, but at a certain point I had to start concentrating on what I could do within this medium rather than waiting to get out of it.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO ONCE WE ARE IN PERSON?
So many things. Seeing my friends and people I’ve connected with during this time, dancing in a studio with other people, being a part of and seeing shows, going to college, so so many things.
HOW HAVE YOU ADAPTED ONLINE?
For me, every day online has been different. Some days to stay afloat, I really need to reach out to my friends, some I need to focus on getting work done, and others I have to give myself a break and do nothing.
I’ve been learning some songs I love on the piano.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT LACHSA RIGHT NOW?
My favorite thing about LACHSA right now is the effort made to have students continue creating art.
FAVORITE DANCE CLASS?
I love MS. WENDY’S ballet class.
FAVORITE LACHSA MEMORY?
In the moment, I didn’t value it, but all the walks I took to and from lachsa have kind of meshed and become a great memory.
PLANS FOR FUTURE/COLLEGE
I do not know where I am attending yet, but in college, I hope to study all different types of art and gain new perspectives on the world.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE INCOMING FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORES YOU WISH YOU HAD?
If I had any advice for incoming freshmen and sophomores, it would be to get involved and try everything the school has to offer. But also to go at your own pace because everyone’s relationship with the school is different.
