FAVORITE THING ABOUT ONLINE?
My favorite thing about online school would have to be being in the comfort of my home and seeing my dog so much more often.
HARDEST THING ABOUT ONLINE?
The hardest thing about online would have to be learning and being on a screen all day since I really rely on human interaction, and it’s just not the same through zoom.
MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO WHEN WE ARE IN PERSON?
What I am most looking forward to when we are back in person is having human interaction with my friends, peers, and teachers. I also miss the CalState campus, specifically, the food court.
OUTSIDE HOBBY?
I am always dancing, so when I have downtime I tend to take that time to relax. But, I have been finding myself going back to sketching.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT LACHSA?
My favorite thing about LACHSA would have to be the cal state food court, and being able to be around fellow artists my age who are just as serious about their art. Also, being able to experience the company side of the dance world, since I train as a commercial and competitive dancer outside of LACHSA.
FAVORITE DANCE CLASS?
My favorite dance class would have to be Ms. Alexa’s choreography and exploration class, aka comp class.
WHAT IS IT LIKE IN COMP CLASS?
I love the class and how we get to explore and be creative within different techniques and concepts.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF IN COMP?
In comp class, I have explored and challenged my mind to be creative and grow in my choreography, along with how to play around with how to film my videos. I have explored different concepts of lighting, settings, angles, editing, etc. I truly take great pleasure in it, and it has helped me feel more confident within myself as a dancer and artist.
